Julia Child's Favorite Taco Stand
What is Julia Child’s favorite taco stand? It’s La Superica located in Santa Barbara.This 1950’s style wooden shack turns out my favorite Mexican fast food. None of the dishes are familiar but all are terrific.
After you order and pay, you seat yourself at one of the large picnic tables on the covered patio and await your food. Everything is made to order and tastes that way. The ingredients are fresh and the tortillas, corn or floor, are hand made while you wait. The receipes are family hand-me downs and the staff is truly friendly.
